The Kalaweit organization has been fighting for the preservation of biodiversity in Indonesia since 1997.In Borneo and Sumatra, it saves forests from deforestation with the close collaboration of local populations and takes care of wild animals affected by trafficking. The production of palm oil, the increasing extraction of nickel, coal, and gold threaten the Indonesian forests.

The Kalaweit France Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 6 June at the Maison des Associations du 7e in Paris (4 rue Amélie, 75007 Paris). Chanee and the Kalaweit team will be there to present the 2025 annual report and an overview of our activities. The meeting is open to all; please confirm your attendance.
