The Kalaweit organization has been fighting for the preservation of biodiversity in Indonesia since 1998.In Borneo and Sumatra, it saves forests from deforestation with the close collaboration of local populations and takes care of wild animals affected by trafficking. The production of palm oil, the increasing extraction of nickel, coal, and gold threaten the Indonesian forests.

Kalaweit at the animal welfare show in Wasquehal
On Saturday March 15 and Sunday March 16, Kalaweit will have a stand at the Salon du Bien-être Animal in Wasquehal. There too, you’ll be able to buy products from our boutique, make a donation, become a Friend of Kalaweit or a volunteer, or simply meet our team of volunteers. It’s at Wasquehal’s salle de fêtes from 10am to 5:30pm. Free admission.
Destination Nature for Kalaweit!
We’ll be at the Destination Nature trade show at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris from Thursday, March 13 to Sunday, March 16, from 10am to 7pm (Sunday 6pm). A team of 100% female volunteers will be on hand to welcome you. You’ll be able to find out more about Kalaweit, buy products from our boutique, make a donation, become a Friend of Kalaweit or just become one! We’ll be on stand H081 (Hall 4)
