KalaweitKalaweit is one of the 40 associations selected by 1% for the Planet France to pitch in front of more than 200 patrons and philanthropists during the Rencontres pour la Planète on October 6 and 7 in Paris. This event is open to companies, foundations, and endowment funds. We will present our project on October 7th and we hope to meet you there!

Chanee was a guest on Anne-Cécile Bras’s programme “C’est pas du vent” on RFI on Thursday 4 June. The programme focused on tropical forests and the important role played by local communities in protecting them. You can listen to the programme again here.
In this video, Chanee announces the start of the creation of a new forest reserve in Borneo: the Grand Dulan. The aim is to protect a total of 6,000 to 7,000 hectares of forest, home to orangutans, sun bears, gibbons, macaques, clouded leopards and proboscis monkeys. The situation is urgent, as deforestation linked to palm oil and coal production is on the rise. With your help, we can make this happen. Thank you!
