The Kalaweit organization has been fighting for the preservation of biodiversity in Indonesia since 1998.In Borneo and Sumatra, it saves forests from deforestation with the close collaboration of local populations and takes care of wild animals affected by trafficking. The production of palm oil, the increasing extraction of nickel, coal, and gold threaten the Indonesian forests.

Animal Welfare Day,Kalaweit at the Villeneuve d'Ascq Open Air Museum
You can meet our volunteers on Wednesday, October 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Open Air Museum in Villeneuve d’Ascq (59) on World Animal and Caregivers Day. We will have a stand there with products from our online store, and our team will be on hand to tell you about our activities in Indonesia!
