Bie has been transfered to our center in Pararawen. He is doing well.
Bie is a gibbon male of species Hylobates agilis albibarbis, one of gibbon species who live in south of the Kapuas river and west of the Barito river in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Date of birth (estimation) : 2010.
As many others wild animal, Bie was treated like she was a pet. He lost her forest and her family.
Now Bie is with Kalaweit, She has a chance to be released in the forest. But before that, Bie must spend some years of rehabilitation in our center.
