A monthly donation grants you the status of Friend of Kalaweit. The Friends are those who make a monthly donation of at least €5. If Kalaweit reaches the number of 3,500 Friends, then the association will no longer have to worry about its future!
Your donation may result in the issuance of a tax receipt, according to the tax regulations of the relevant country. For example, a donation of €5 amounts to €1,70 once the tax deduction for France is applied.
Support our actions
The daily operations of Kalaweit come at a cost. We have to pay salaries (65 people in Indonesia and 1 in France), maintain the infrastructure, fund travel, buy equipment, etc. Your support is essential to fund all these expenses.
Protect lands with local communities
We are actively fighting against deforestation by protecting the forests with the close collaboration of local communities. Thus, we provide a secure habitat for wildlife and generate income for the villagers. You can contribute to the preservation of forests in Borneo and Sumatra.

Even though Kalaweit no longer rescues animals, we still have 350 gibbons and siamangs in our care centers. Most of them cannot be released and require constant attention. With your help, we can provide them with the best possible living conditions.
