In case of an animal’s death, your donations can be attributed to another gibbon or used for other expenses depending on your wishes.
If you would like to donate in someone else’s name, please send us their email so that we may send them news of their fostered animal.

It's a sad day for Boyke and Liar, Boly was dead. She has been sick for a week.
Boly has cold and cough.
We try to give her treatment but sadly Boly did not survive.

Boyke was with a female gibbon named Yoyo. But his relationship with this female was not good because they intimidate each other.
Presentation
Boyke is a male gibbon Hylobates Muelleri muelleri, a specy that can be found in southeast Kalimantan, approximately south of the Mahakam river and west of the Barito river.
Year of birth (estimation) : 1997.
Medicale examination : Boyke is clean.
Boyke was rescued in march, 28th 2004 in Palangkaraya.
History :
One day we received a phone call, a man has two gibbons in his house. He wanted to give us his gibbons that he has kept like pet animal for years and years.
Now at Kalaweit, Boyke and his family have a chance to be released in the forest. But he must first spend many years of rehabilitation at our center.
