Bengbeng is just fine. He is active and eat well the fruits.
Bengbeng is male siamang, Symphalangus syndactylus, one of gibbon species who live in Barisan Mountains of west - sentral Sumatera, Indonesia.
Estimation of birth year : 2005.
Bengbeng was saved on december, 27 2015 in Padang.
Like many others wild animals, Bengbeng was threatened by forest conversion and hunting. He was sold like animal pet.
Now in Kalaweit, Bengbeng have a chance to be in the forest again. But before that he must pass some stages of rehabilitation in our center.
